Private Health Fund
Most private health funds provide rebates for dietitian consultations. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your private health fund to see what rebate you are entitled to. No referral is required if claiming under private health cover.
HICAPS facilities are available for in clinic consults so that you can claim your rebate on the spot and only pay the gap amount.
Medicare
If you have a chronic condition (e.g. Diabetes, Arthritis, IBS, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, PCOS and more) your GP may choose to refer you through an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan for up to 5 dietitian consultations per calendar year. If this is the case, you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $55.10 per consultation. Discuss your eligibility for this referral with your doctor.
POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
24 hours notice is required for cancellation or change of appointment time. Please understand that when an appointment is made the client has booked the practitioner’s time and whether the client attends the appointment or not, the time has been set aside for that client. Consultations missed or cancelled without 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the consultation fee or forfeited for pre-paid program consultations.
